November 12, 2019

Hello!  Welcome to the latest issue of "The Catch", published fortnightly

for Nassau's best rowing club.

TRIVIA!  This Thursday night.

Nassau RC is a non-profit organization, and every bit of support helps us keep the fleet afloat.  Please join us at the Poop Deck (west) this Thursday for a fun night of trivia. $10/head, prizes for 1st - 3rd place.

ERGATHON @ Jollification - Support our Juniors

Please come down to Jollification and visit us at our booth!  NRC Juniors will be holding their annual ERGATHON, where they pledge to row a certain amount of meters.

If you would like to donate to a Junior member, please let me know.  Athletes will erg a minimum of 5,000m.

Prizes for the most meters rowed and most money raised!  Go NRC!!!

CR Walker High School

CR Walker High School is now rowing twice a week, Monday and Wednesday.  We have between 9 - 12 rowers regularly attending practice.

Willecia Scott has advanced to join the NRC Junior team, but she volunteers to coach her newer classmates as well.

We had so much interest from the club fair, we need a second van!  With increased transportation, more rowers will be able to get on the water.  Please support our programs, and consider becoming a sponsor!

Lyford Cay International School

The Lyford Boys Novice squad meets once a week at Lake Cunningham to hone their skills and work on building endurance and strength.

This young team will be open to new members in January for the spring season.  Any LCIS students are welcome to choose this elective; no experience necessary!  We meet on Friday afternoon.

Save the Date: 1 February 2020

The FIRST scrimmage between LCIS and Windsor School followed by a cookout.  All are welcome!
