2nd Annual Jingle Bell Regatta
On Saturday 15 December, Nassau Rowing Club held our second annual 500m dash for all members. Masters, Juniors, Novice, and Competitive all threw down the gauntlet into a strong cross-tail wind.
Please enjoy this photo spread of the day!
All photographs courtesy of Ben Jamieson Photography. Thank you Ben! We appreciate your keen eye.
NRC members raced in quads, doubles, racing singles and training singles! It was a day of sportsmanship, agony, victory, and good solid fun.
Thanks to the Derbyshires for the use of their boat, the Stanhopes for the use of the temporary coaching launch. Thank you to Ben D for helping with the line.
We ended the day with a "Secret Santa Swap" amongst the Junior members, and a potuck cookout. Thanks to Vivianne for decorating, Dabs for being the Head Pork Chop, and Peter for the grill and Kalik!
And finally, to our volunteers in parking, dock assist, timing, and trophy production, THANK YOU! It is every person doing one small thing that makes us great together.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
