Hello! Welcome to the latest issue of "The Catch", published fortnightly for
Nassau's best rowing club.
C.R.Walker Students are ON THE WATER!
Young men and women from C.R. Walker School are rowing at Nassau Rowing Club every Wednesday after school. We've been practicing balance, learning how to set, back, turn, and stop the boat.
Rowing takes patience, positivity, and perseverance, especially when first starting out, and these kids have it! Volunteers are always welcomed to help set and steer the boats while we are learning.
NRC Junior Membership is growing
There are anywhere from 14 - 20 rowers who attend our Saturday practice. This season of Learn to Row(ers) are just about to graduate, and we will be welcoming some of them to our Junior Team.
Junior members must be at least 11 years old and have gone through a Learn to Row session. They are expected to attend practice 4 days a week, and represent Nassau Rowing outside of the club to the highest degree.
The next Learn to Row session for Masters and Juniors will begin in January! Please see the flyer below for more information.
